Holiday Sew Day
Saturday was our guild’s Holiday Sew Day. We actually had two to choose from, depending on which part of town is most convenient.
Mid-December is a crazy, busy time for everyone, but all the more reason to carve some time out for sewing with friends. Our Dr. Phillips location was feeling the festivities with snacks, decorations, and door prizes.
Of course, we may have had more door prizes than members present, but that just meant we all went home with goodies.
It was SO great taking a break from holiday preparations to sew with friends. My sewing goal for the day was to stitch EPP flowers on to a set of napkins for a hostess gift. My goal was a tad ambitious. Maybe we can call the one finished napkin a tea towel or bread basket liner?
These two tiny pincushions were finished just in time to join the door prize basket.
Hope you are finding time to sew for fun. Happy stitching,
